Lockheed Martin F-16C (Revell 1:144)
Good decals, but won't be using these.
Quite a bit of filler around the air intake.
I had to take the radome off, it wasn't sitting correctly - it was pointing a bit up.
Radome looks better now.
Almost forgot the ventral fins.
I put the masking fluid (Mr Masking Sol Neo) on too thick in a few places, so it didn't dry and messed up the paint work a bit.
Very nice decals from Paulus Victor.
Details of what should be included for the time period.
The IFF antennas need to be removed.
Also removing the outer under wing pylons as the Vipers didn't carry any AMRAAMs in Desert Storm.
Engine installed.
Time to close up the cockpit.
The decal under the canopy set before I could manoeuvre it in place. Tried to loosen it without luck...I figured out later to only use water for these decals, then you're able to moved them around. Decal solution sets them in place straight away.
Found this replacement from the 1/48 Buccaneer's sheet. It might work...
Decal fixed, it came out not too bad.
Final matt coat to be applied.
She's a small bird...

Wow, that's a tiny Viper. I'm surprised it has as much detail as it does. Looking good so far.

Thanks Casey, Sergei. This is a little gem of a kit from Revell, the detail is very good.

@Vjekoslav, you're right, there were no walkway lines on this model. The decals were sealed by this point, so I just painted them over.
