Matchbox Pz Kw-V Ausf-G Panther 1:76
1974!
This is what I will try to do...
Assembly started
Chipping effect fluid, let's see how it works..
Sand yellow base
Green mottling
And reddish brown
Steel base color
Black/grey dry brush
Dry brushing rust color
And black wash
The chipping fluid works also applied by brush
Painted the rubber rim on the wheels
Wheels out of the sprue and touched up
Exhaust painted
And machine gun
Wheels in place
It almost looks like a proper tank now
Matchbox's diorama painted (minus the awful tree)
A very diluted coat of Tamiya buff
Panel liner on the diorama
A coat of gloss varnish and decals on (only 7!)
A dark wash
A coat of matt varnish
Also on the tracks and the display base
Almost done...
Tracks, scratch-built antenna, a bit of earth pigment and it is finished!

These little old kits are fun, and a great way to try new things without worrying too much about it

I think only the thick tracks reveal it might've been Matchbox kit in the past 👍

Thanks Julian and Lukasz. It was purely out of the box, except the antenna, and I enjoyed it a lot. And, yes, it was 235 pesetas 😄 (1.4 Euros!)
