Welcome Roland, Andy and Murad!
Wheels up and flaps up is the plan - sadly eduard isnt built for that, closing wheel wells involves a lot of sanding...they are too shallow as well. flaps were easy to adjust by cutting some pins. Other than that it's a fantastic little kit, very nicely fitting
But one thing is a big minus: the combination of cowling and wings allows you only an e1 and an e4 in combination if you want to build 2 planes out of the box - an extra e1/e3 canopy wouldn't have hurt eduard! So now it's an e4 for major galland with the look of his e3, cant be helped...

Hello Daniel! It seems we had the same idea with our Emils! I bought two weekend edition E3s for my project and then the Adlerangriff dual combo was announced. I was sad about that and then realized the two weekend boxes probably work better for my case.
Nice work on yours! Interestingly, you first started on the stand which makes a little more sense than my approach🙂

yes I concur Daniel....too many manufacturer's don't allow a simple 'wheels-up' part....I had hours of gentle manipulation on my 72nd Tamiya G-6, only to find I went through the wheel covers! also, a bit of a swizz if there aren't the right canopies too!

Big step forward today, motorized, closed and running smoothly 👍 Already looking pretty cool, dusting off the old soldering iron paid out 🙂
Martin: Thats cool, I first got the idea seeing the box art and thats the main reason I bought this. Should have researched a bit as you really are better off with 2 weekenders - didnt use much of the PE and Resin as well. Though I really like the Galland figure that came wth it.
Dont know if starting with the stand was that sensible as it does get a lot of handling which is not really good for the attachement of the models. Already a bit loosened...as well I normally like to hold the model during painting weathering an decals. But we'll get there
Nathan: Welcome! Well its not hard to miss in the flood of daily 109 updates on this page😉
Andy: I think I know which kind of "gentle manipulation" youre talking about 😄 Yeah, but as I am not thaaaat fixated on historical accuracy I can live with it 🙂
Clifford: Nice to have you on board clifford!

did the basic painting today, most of it is free handed to get softer transitions. Only left with some minor touchups and maybe blending the scribbled stuff more with some heavy thinned rlm 02
Thanks Clifford, its brass tubes and the stand from the revell 1/32 fw 190

tha-hank you! 🙂
Warning to all: The stencil data decals in this kit are about the thickest I have ever seen in my life. They really suck.
each one of them should have a seperate "watch your step" decal come with it...also the carrier "film" is often placed really off, so a part of the print isnt covered and you lose it.
but the main decals are top notch and in contrast maybe the thinnest I ever worked with

strange to have such a difference in the quality of the decals of the same model

Thank you very much spanjaard!
The base is from the revell 1:32 FW 190 and the models are stuck on 3 mm brass tubes.
Soldered the tubes together and then used hot glue to fix them to the stand

Picked up the "adlerangriff" theme for the stand by copying the Luftwaffe chest emblem
