kit is entirely OOB. only addition that i did was the welding around the hull to the fenders. most of them will prolly become hidden under the stowage....
tamiya met blue as primer.
i'm calling her done! 😄
FS33531 on with gunze h313.
overspray around the wheel rims are intentional per the reference photos.

wear and tear.
stowage again.
folks please say hello Bard and Fergy! Fergy is the gunner and yes he's crosseyed, what else? 😄
basic figure painting is done. now i'll do the details and a little bit of weathering on them.
scorpion itself is basically finished except the wx of them tracks and running gear. by the way the tracks were terrible, had to dip them in very hot water for some flexing using tweezers to pull due to the *hitty vinyl tracks as usual. they were not only very stiff they are almost a good cm short. had to glue ps strips to reinforce the joint, hoping they wont be visible once on the base after some strategic placement of rocks and bushes etc.
next stop is determining the stowage and their placement.

determining what to use and their locations.
as for the stereo, as much as i want to use it eventho it's ok width wise, too thick to fit it anywhere making sense. i'll either trim the back side considerably or have to omit it altogether, we'll see.
everything is dry fit including the figures. eye surgery on Fergy, no longer cross eyed tho i'll have to add shading to his eyelids to tighten his iri'

except a couple of small things left to glue and trim, this is how the stowage looks folks.
i opted to not use the boombox due to size unfortunately.

Calling her done folks.
no stereo nor British flag unfortunately.
i simply couldnt fit the boombox anywhere which made slightest of sense.
as for the British flag both laser and inkjet printers decided to crap on me at the same time (murphy sez hi) and the results were simply unacceptable, i'm not for tarnishing somebody elses flag so i decided not to use.
enjoy. 🙂
