In 1941, just in time for the Operation Barbarossa, Henschel managed to produce a prototype named VK 65.65. This vehicle featured a brand new 8.8cm KwK 43, which was able to penetrate almost 200mm of armor at a distance of 1500 meters. This fearsome 65t vehicle was immediately assigned to spearhead the offence. To further boost the morale and display the technical superiority, the battalion assigned this vehicle painted their 'mascot' on the turret's right side. Will communism meet its fate soon? This tank should have partially an answer.
