Some time ago I was looking for a more relaxed project and chose the F4F Wildcat. To make the whole thing a bit more challenging, I decided to build three of them in parallel. First I would like to show the finished model of the F4F-3 from Hobby Boss. The cockpit and the landing gear bay were refined with etched parts from eduard and I replaced the cockpit canopy with a Vacu part from Rob-Taurus. The decals for "Butch" O'Hare's Wildcat, which he flew for a photo shoot off Hawaii after his famous MoH mission, were mainly from Superscale and the model was painted with Tamiya paints.
