But I have three cows to feed!
I actually showed this one to my girlfriend who is learning Danish, and lured her into saying kamelåså in class - the teacher didn't find it funny because it was a Norwegian joke... No humour... no humour.
But at least we got æ-ø-å!

Sometimes Denmark is just too cool for school... Some years ago during some AIDS awareness thing many countries participated in singing in there special ways - the Danish contribution was two musicians and a male singer wearing a dress on a mudpool.
There is a drawing of it here - where there also is a link to the full video of the song: satwcomic.com/all-you-need-is-love

Finland and Iceland aren't considered Scandinavian, but Nordic. This is also why the meeting place for the five countries is "The Nordic House" in Reykjavik (Iceland is well with a visit - and revisits!).
Faroe Islands is suppressed to be quite nice but also easily done with I've heard, but hopefully I get to see it some day! I unfortunately didn't get the mission on Greenland I was considered for - that would have been amazing to go there for a few years!

If you and Mrs Flannel are in Copenhagen at some point let me know if you would like a tour; if I am available I can surely show you around the city.
I am sure that there are come books available regarding the RDAF history, however I am not very familiar with any in English at least. However I get a few ideas from Danmarks Flymuseum (Flight Museum of Denmark); they have a good amount of retired RDAF planes on display - some which are still RDAF property but lent out to the museum.

You actually took a Kitech kit and managed to build it and prime it ?! You must be a very patient and calm person.

I was first swearing a bit about some holes that was not matching with the pegs - until I found out that I was holding the wrong wing - once I took the right one the pegs and holes fitted... It's not a very precise model - lots of fitting errors and seams that does not line up - but generally as it was a kit I had that was missing a few parts (all clear ones first of all), it's not really anything that I need - so would be fun to play around with my niece with
