Stealth fast craft
This is a MikroMir kit, so do not expect any facilitating items 😉
Nevertheless, seems to be quite a simple build
These beams were moulded as fragments of the main sprue (see photo #1) - ingenious, isn't it 😉
I have installed the interior dock, but I am still pondering on the final configuration of the rear ramp and cockpit hatch...
I do not know the purpose of these holes in the real thing...
Puttying... and sanding... and polishing are the order of the day of course. Fortunately, only perfectly flat surfaces here 😉
Dry fitting of main parts of the hull. Even though there are mainly flat surfaces, puttying was necessary...
Since I couldn't find the photos of the interior I decided to glue the hatch in the closed position.
Quite an ingenious way of aligning the masks for windscreen and side windows.
Primed. After analysing the available photos of a real thing I discovered that from the kit parts one can make neither the craft depicted on the box top nor the one proposed in the painting scheme... Also the radar shroud is of wrong shape for this very boat, I found something to substitute it (the blue half-spherical piece it is...)
Painted. Now I need to break this monotony in some way...
Now I have to figure out how to assemble these...
Current state of the model
Tried not to overdo the weathering.
Finished. Not really spectacular looking model representing the first version of SeaLion vessel. Producing the camouflaged ones would need a lot of modifications on a basis of photos only, however. Still, it is something unusual 😉

"Seems to be quite a simple build." Robert, you should know better than to ever say that!

Thanks, Richard 😉 (I am simply not skilled enough to make a typical subject "stand off the crowd" here, so I go fo unusual ones...)

Interesting project and a good progress so far!
Will you present it in a dio or only on a stand?
However, waiting on your final result!
I'm sure, it will be very convincing😃

This will be presented on a stand, Simon (as it is intended as a birthday gift for my friend)...also, I will use it as a canvas to try some new weathering techniques and products I am going to use on "Lun" ekranoplan 😉

Thank you, Roland - I simply have a soft spot for weird and unusual 😉

Even if you think it's not very spectacular 😉, the design is fantastic!
And it was also an interesting construction progress to marvel at.
That makes you want more of it...... 😁

Thank you, Mates, you're very kind 🙂 @Simon - sure, design is interesting, but when starting this build I was convinced that I could make a camouflaged version, which looks much more interesting (in my standards, you know - I am more into colourful and flamboyant machines 😉 )
Here you can compare all of them:
