It has been a sort of "hit and miss". The kit was quite old and, while the shape of the F-111 was well done, the fitting between the center fuselage and cockpit compartment isn't good. Like other ESCI models of that period, there aren't any recess, holes, pins to place the cockpit perfectly aligned within the fuselage Plus the canopy can be left open nicely but it's a bit tricky to close, and I dropped a bit of Tamiya glue on it. Thus I have to sand and clear it, after trying in vain to use a vacuum-formed canopy the Hasegawa F-111. Overall, I have learned something during the process (fixing canopies, using the Isopropanol to thin the MIG Ammo colors, etc.) that surely helps me in my future projects.
