WIP - MAZ-7313 Truck
Made some barriers for the base
Starting with engine and transmission
Frame and transmissions
Frame and transmissions
A lot of different sprues - from 3 models (SCUD, SMERCH and this one) - a lot of unused parts
Comparison with other part - think from SCUD
Complicated step
Frame partially ready - time for wheel hubs
Made some 3d printed replacement parts for dampers
Getting shape
Small base - but this is because I do not have any more space for models
Test fit- part of MDF will be removed for some side walk

Looking amazing! The chipped and scratched paintwork on the tray is particularly convincing 👍

Those rusted supports alone are incredible, much less the rest of it. How did you do the rust effects on those? Wow.

Thank you all
@John - those were painted with random mixture of black, dark brown and some lighter brownish shades. Next I've applied with airbrush chipping medium. Once dry I've painted all with yellow with some darker yellow shade at the edges. Next water and tools like toothbrush, hard brush, sharpened toothpick and knife. With water some scrubbing, scratching until I was happy with result. Then I left it for couple of hours and applied some oild with sponge. That's it - easy peasy 😉
