Nice work. 👍
Built the same kit in FAP livery...
• Academy | Republic P-47D Thunderbolt | Portuguese | Project by GrenadeBait (1:72)
• P-47D Thunderbolt | Força Aérea Portuguesa (FAP) | Album by GrenadeBait (1:72)
It was a nice build overall and enjoyable, but the way the cowl fixes was a problem,

Muito obrigada Rui. I had a look at your FAP version, very nice. I like the detail in the cockpit too. I agree, it was a straightforward build but my cowl did fall off a couple of times. Worst part for me was the Academy decals, they either folded onto themselves or tore very easily. All the best!

Album info
My interpretation of "Schmaltzie", flown by Lt. F.J. Middleton of the 57th FG, 65th FS, 12th Air Force.
Based in Southern Italy in the summer of 1944.
The kit is the Academy 12491 P-47D Bubbletop with aftermarket decals by BarracudaCals.
The original decals sadly disintegrated when I looked at them... Paints used were Tamiya and Humbrol. Thanks for reading!
