Creative use of the figures - they really work very well with the over-loaded transport!

Thanks all.
Sorry Rich I don't have any progress photos of this one as it was my first venture back into modelling after thirty years or so and I wasn't on this or any other site until I'd completed it. It wasn't too difficult to convert, the Ford F30 and Chevy C30 were essentially the same with the Fords having to borrow some Chevy parts (inc the axles) as they couldn't get the supply. The top half needed to be cut off the rear of the cab, then the engine cowling needed to be cut back. I could have cut it a bit further back really, but I went with where the kit took a natural change of direction just to keep it simpler. The insides of the engine compartment were filled with some stiff card. The kit came with a fully detailed engine so no extra parts needed there. The rivets are a bit large and scrappy but they were cut from the rear canopy frame parts, on a tight budget at the moment so can't afford aftermarket extras for every little thing. The condenser pipes are just heated and bent sprues and the condenser tank is a piece of round pencil with some cardboard straps. The rolled up canvas doors are just rolled tissue painted with a PVA/paint mix. The sand tracks on the front wings were made again with painted tissue paper and some card slats wrapped inside it. The belts and equipment straps are just all thin painted card.
Thanks all.
