This build was completed over the weekend, sometimes I just like to set a timeframe, grab a kit and go. See what you end up with. These Revell kits are ideal for that kind of thing, they don't have that many parts and build up pretty easily. I wanted to do some weathering in a way I hadn't done before so that's why I set out to build a farm truck. The colour is a mix of 70% Tamiya Medium Blue and 30% Sea Blue. I glued the hood shut, it doesn't fit that well anyway, and I didn't paint (except for black primer) the engine and chassis. I took down the rear wheels a little so there's a bit of a tired look. The bed looks wonky, it sags to one side and I'm fine with that, that could be a real scenario, but it's actually caused by the cab body not fitting properly over the interior. I tried but I didn't want stuff to break, or a window to pop out which I hate, so I let it be and pronounced it good enough! I put some straw type stuff in the back, it's a little over scale but well, at least there's something there.
