Neuling
Interesting vehicle with a short career in army service. Glad you show this model here on scalemates! Very good work with appealing moderate weathering!

Lovely build! Neuling - did the York ever work? I heard they had to rig the drones to explode on a demo because it couldn't hit anything…

The Sgt York had target acquisition, tracking, and engagement issues. That what happens when you award the development contract to a car manufacturer (Ford motor company) instead of a proven weapons manufacturer.

Album info
This is TAKOMs M247 Sergeant York kit. Primed with flat black enamel, and then applied a base coat of CARC Green from Scale Colors. I post shaded the surface areas and large side panels with successive layers of CARC Green mixed with IDF Sand Gray (Scale Colors), adding a few more drops of IDF Sand Gray to each layer.
This build depicts an M247 Sergeant York assigned to the Air Defense School at Fort Bliss Texas in the early 1980's.
