Finished - 12cm Granatwerfer 42

Zvezdas German 120mm Mortar with Crew (12cm Granatwerfer 42) is a nice little kit. The quality and details are fine and only the printed handles on the basic plate of the mortar are replaced by new ones made of rod. Let us see how it will come out when painted.

Yes they are nicely detailed. It is hard plastic and not soft plastic. Each figure has seperate arms and legs etc. Also the poses are very dynamic for this scene.

I did a 75mm LeIgeschütz from Zvezda a while back and found these kits very nice, a far cry from what Zvezda used to be when the first kits hit the shelves.
Your granatwerfer, and especially the figures are beautifully painted, like Neuling wrote, as good as a 35th scale kit would look!

Another one for the gallery. I made a little vigniette to present the s.Gr.W. and crew. Vegetation and tree are from Silhouette Modellbau GmbH, wooden fende is scratcbuilt.
With the tree in the background, the high lawn and covered colours I got exactly the atmosphere I want.
