SZD-48-3 Jantar-Standard 3

Can’t remember who made the little Polish injection molded kit that I built in 1981 or 1982, but this looks nice enough. Same simplicity of build, even though it’s resin, but 1/48 makes the included cockpit w PE instrument panel etc, more worthwhile - all it needed in 1/72 was a seat, but in the larger scale something more is justified, esp w a vac-form cockpit.

This kit is one of a group that I’ve spent some $$$ on specifics for assembly. Alclad’s white primer, so I’ve got a nice white base, Gunze Super White for the actual gloss coat, and Gunze Super UV Cut Gloss for the top coat after the decals, so it all stays white.
