Cristian AOh man, this is wonderful work. I like the interior as well with the geographical map shown in such detail. I didn't know that the Czech air force is running Vipers, well done on the build!

Michael KohlFollowing. Still struggling with my Revell/Modeltrans/OKB Grigorov Merk. Also bought the EMP3D ball and chain armour but see that you used the balls only. Anxious to hear why. Where did you find the super fine chain? I didn't.

I had also thought about replicating the chainball armor with chains for my two Merkavas and tried but failed because the chains I found all seemed too big.

Michael KohlI was elated when EMP3D released the ball and chain armour and I ordered it and it looks very good. So I am anxious to know why Pryzemyslav discarded it.

When i've bought EMP3D i was very happy, because there are no in the trumpeter set.
But after installation it occured they hang to low and just break with little turret movement
After few trials to fix them, ideas to rebuild the turewt, i've decided to replace them

Rod -This kit is more than 50 years old and amazingly good. The original tires in my kit had decomposed to mush so I got some Tamiya RC tires, machined some rims and 3d printed some centres.
The kit comes with a motor, lights and wiring. Motor hidden in engine block, 4x AA in the fuel tank. It even has little uni joints on the tail shaft.

Rod -I've spent a bit of time trying to get the stance right. Out of box it sits quite high.

Rod -I have a cnc lathe at home. It has a 75mm spindle bore, a bit bigger than a hobby lathe 🙂

Rod -Dash gauge decals pinched from a 1/12 foose camaro kit. The original decal sheet only gives you 3 choices of screaming chicken and a big blue stripe. No badges or detailing of any kind. The silver trim is a separate piece. I glued some green felt on the floor for carpet.

Rod -I'm waiting on some 3d printed brake rotors and calipers. There will be more pics soon 🙂

Rod -Some more progress. Body was painted white with a black fade under the horizontal crease along the side of the body. Then the green/gold pearl, then about 5 coats of green tinted clear. When it hardens I'll polish, add decals and put the final 2k clear on. The camera can't capture the color, it looks nice sitting on the bench 🙂

Rod -This is my first 1/12 car. It needs way more paint than a 1/24! I used 2-1/2 bottles of sms pearl. Instead of using hobby clear coat I bought a can of clear acrylic spray from the auto parts store and decanted it for mixing and airbrushing. Good quality paint and much cheaper!

Rod -I glued the boot shut as the fit wasn't perfect and there's nothing to see in there anyway (4x AA batteries, loaded from the bottom). I also am not confident the opening doors will work perfectly so I glued one shut. That way at least one side of the model will look clean if the door fit is a bit crappy.
