Dave NormanPhotos of the completed model before I start work on the base. Eduard's 1/48th "Desert babe" plus additional accesories from Eduard including, AIM-7s, Boz pod, Skyshadow pod, paveways. Also added Master's pitot probe and some 3d printed intake and exhaust blanks purchased from a nice chap on Ebay. Paints used were mostly MRP-243 US Desert Sand (FS30279) with some MRP-185 Desert Pink RAF used to post shade and add some variation.

Thomas Kolb(And for everybody else with knowledge about the different versions of the Yak-12, yes, I am aware of the differences between the A-version in the kit and the R-version used by the Hungarian People's Army. But since I am not able to scratch build the entire wing and empennage structure, let's just call it artistic license.)

Thomas KolbThank you Nicolas & Bruce for your interest! This kit is actually not quite as bad as some other Amodel kits, the designers have done some pretty nifty solutions here! If anything, it is a bit unforgiving - make a mistake and it will keep coming back and kick you.

Christian BruerBergepanther Ausf. D, Dragon kit Panther Ausf. D, Fat Frog Models tracks and some scratchbuild details to present an early Bergepanther.
An easy self made conversion for an interesting recovery vehicle. I will add drawbars, a rack with a timber and the wooden hatch above the turret opening.

Indeed the Fat Frog tracks are really nice, but a lil bit tricky to remove all the printing supports mainly on the inner side of the tracks.

SkyhikerThe air intake on this kit needs to be rebuilt. It's not too difficult. Worse is the flash on the nose cone. Mine was a blob of plastic that needed to be filed down to shape.
