i was going to say that it could be related to the fact that the kit is "based on" the delorean time machine, but the time line is now blank.... but the kit still says that there are no instructions for it, but the ones of the "time machine" one are available.

They may be "similar" kits, but they are not the SAME kit. One is not a reboxing or retooling of the other. One is the Time Machine from "Back To The Future", the other is not. Two separate kits which should not even have the same instructions posted. They should not be in the same Timeline (no pun) because they should be two separate topics.

since i have not seen them, and since there are not even instructions, i can not answer that. but it may be entirely possible they are based on the same mould. Just that the "time machine" has some maybe a extra sprue with extra parts. External cabling seem to be separated part, not like in older Deloreans were it was moulded in the body.

I still maintain that the non Time Machine version of the Delorean should not be a multi-topic including Time Machine, because it is not a Time Machine, it's just a regular Delorean car model. Regardless if the Time Machine kit starts out with the same base mold and sprues (it probably does) as the regular car kit, they should still be separate topics. If anything, it's the Time Machine kit which should be multi-topic, not the other way around.

The inscription on the plane-"Хабаровский комсомол" (Khabarovsk Komsomol) it means that the plane was built with money raised by young residents of the city of Khabarovsk.
Komsomol is an organization of young communists in the USSR.
Several such aircraft were built, so the inscriptions could be different.
I do not know how to insert a photo into this message, so I will insert it into a photo album, then delete it.

@gorby: oh yes, They really make the difference. The age of the kit is noticeable, so the PE is a nice plus.
@Łukasz Gliński: There will be no camo pattern. The vehicle is small and such an elaborate multi-color camouflage would make all details visually disappear. In the end, it would only look colorful and misshapen, i guess.
@Robert Podkoński: thank you for the pics! A good source, also for later projects 😉 However, the exhibited specimen would have to be a replica, because according to my research, no original vehicle has survived over the time.
