Tasca Sherman Firefly
Close up of Chipped bogies (on the left), unchipped on the right.
Chipped bogies.
Chipped bogies on the left, pre-chipping on the right. I do like the way they turned out. Used AK Worn effects chipping fluid.
Lower hull assembly started. Fits pretty well.
Post 2nd coat (light coat) and chipping fluid. Tamiya OD with much more German Dark Yellow and X-20 thinner to make chipping easier.
Post 1st coat Tamiya OD and German Dark Yellow with Lacquer thinner
Friul Tank tracks. Unfortunately I think I was short a bag of connectors so these probably won't get used on this project.
Primed with Mr Surfacer 1500
Build complete. 13ish pieces in each bogie. Working shock absorbing capabilities. Ended up gluing them fairly static as that is not needed (and I didn't figure out exactly how to do this until the 4th set).

Burnishing a few extra track links as a few have broken or were too short. Note: check the links as some of the portions are short shot and will not hold even once glued.
Burnished links. 4 minutes in the burnishing solution.
