Revell 1/32 F/A 18 F Super Hornet
Sink marks in the "silver" part of the exhaust tail pipes prohibited the use. I cut these parts off of an old Hasegawa F-18 and adapted them to this kit

I really enjoyed it, there are challenges to be sure but having seen many of the modellers complaints with it I went in to the build prepared for those challenges. Would I have been disappointed with it if I was unaware of the challenges? I'm not sure. I built the Revell 1/32 MK IX Spitfire, 109 and 190 and found those to all have some build issues as well.
I have, since finishing this one, ordered another so take from that what you may

Yes, Alclad tail pipes…..shot at least 6 different shades before I could call myself satisfied. Damned things look a different color in every angle on the real thing
