Laird Solution 1/32ème.

Album image #1
Rendering of the digital model used to design the kit.

Album image #2
The various parts of the cockpit are painted. The front end and fuel tank are aluminum. The tubular structure and rudder pedals are shiny black. The sides simulate the fabric that covered the tubular structure. I painted it brown. The floor is wood, the controls aluminum.

Album image #3
I'd like to show the control cables for the spreader bar. I've taken 0.2mm metal profiles and passed them through 0.4mm microtube. The ends of the adjuster are represented by a drop of cyano.

Album image #4
The belts were made from the tin foil found on wine bottles. The loops were modeled in Fusion 360 and 3D printed.

Album image #5
The dashboard consists of two parts. The rear part is designed to accommodate the meter decal. The front part is perforated. As I didn't have the decals in the kit, I printed the meters on a transparent sheet and painted the rear part white. The front is painted matte black with white and aluminum details.

Album image #6
The wooden parts are painted ochre. They are then treated with oil. A coat of yellow-tinted varnish adds depth.
