The Fokker that didn't exist (NOVO\FROG)
All we need for the project: two kits (one lacks a propeller, but it has additional details) and a decal from the 90s.
In a completely empty cabin, I will make rough imitations of the dashboard and turnover protection frame.
The turnover protection frame looks like it is made of large diameter water pipes. 🙂 I also made a floor in the cockpit and a partition in the gargrot.
Primer is applied.
After all, I ruined the nozzle and needle of my Chinese airbrush, and the painting turned out to be so-so.
The red stripes are painted. Fokker becomes "Tovarishch Rosso" 🙂
We are almost ready to apply glossy varnish.
Glossy varnish and decals are applied
Fokker is finished

Ben M, in fact, this model (FROG F156\F223) is more similar to the prototype of the Fokker D.XXI than to the production version.

Apparently, I'll have to fork out for a Japanese or German airbrush. I'm tired of "fighting" with the Chinese airbrush. 🙂

It's one of the tools that is worth it. I have an H&S and it is much easier to get a good result than with my Paasche. I wish I'd got an Iwata though as there is local parts availability, so I don't have to deal with internet and shipping nonsense.

The Fokker that didn't exist. There is a version that one of the Fokkers D.XXI was used by the Republican Air Force in the Spanish Civil War. Although there is no evidence of this. What if? I have a couple of kits of old NOVO, a decal from the 90s and I'll try to assemble this mysterious Fokker.
