According to me, this user is NOT a Scale Modeler and his profile should be DELETED.

He needs to clean up his profile, he seems to want 5 copies of every model when one will do.
I suspect we can blame Scalemates user interface. It looks confusing even to me. Perhaps no wonder the guy ended up adding more than one instance of stuff.
Imo the Scalemates 'stash' interface button/messages are confusing. The graphic design is flawed in my opinion.
Explanation: There's a button for adding an item to one's stash. A big green button saying "Stash +". However after having clicked this button once, and even though it does add one item to the stash, there's a new button showing on the far right saying "add item". This is bad. It should say at least something more clearly like: " Add item again" to hint that you've already added the item to your stash. The second button makes it looks like the item wasn't really added with the first button press.
It could be accidental or he clicked too many times on the Stash + button but I see what you are talking about. I'm new here so I don't know all the ins and outs. Unfortunately the allegation of spamming is not specific as to what kind it is; another flaw in the system?
We do NOT play games or joke around with the spam option.
This is NOT a spammer.
If you don't like seeing "add to stash" messages you can use the "Popular" filter in the newsfeed (like 95% of all mates)

I worry nobody can see my updated comment in the newsfeed, on this older post of time.
I suppose there might be a delay in the system/database, but then I wonder what this delay time might be.

Go to your stash. Go to the kit in question. Press the + on the right side. You should see the project the kit is linked to, and a shopping cart icon. Press the icon. Fill in the price you paid for the kit. Possibly dat and shop as well. Click save. Do this for each kit in the project.
Your project page will show total cost
Thanks! I finally found it, hard to find.
There was no shopping cart icon on my screen, instead it was a blank field inbetween 'storage' and 'projects'.

Usually, for each full scale model kit in the database, there is a list of various aftermarket products listed below.
Example: The 1:350 scale Trumpeter HMS Naiad has 3d printed aftermarket products that can be used that are already listed on Scalemates webiste, however several of these products are not listed for the Trumpeter kit. It is uknown if the 3d printed parts are supposed to fit the Trumpeter kit, but it is the same scale.
Re. existing product MM1255P in the database. I added a topic, so the product database is now 'multi topic' to link the product to the Trumpeter 1:350 HMS Naiad full scale model kit. However the database for the ship kit does not reflect this after the edit. A time delay or is some data missing?

I am mostly interested in the problem re. the various database labels which I find confusing.
The VMS varnish bottles comes in various sizes (30ml, 100ml at least, and maybe 50ml unsure), and three types: matte, satin and gloss.
Afaik, every product listed below, is the same type of product (acrylic varnish).
SCM Search: vms varnish
The correct should be under "Paints", all the rest are "doubles"
I'll clean them up and merge the wrong ones to the correct ones
Thank you. 🙂 I was afraid of making a mistake if I tried to fix something there.
