i do not build a lot of 1 144 scale kits, but as far as the ageof it gos it seems pretty good, it is lacking some details,but theyy are ones you can live without, for example their is no backwall for the inside of the engine intakes

It is reboxing of Revell's kit, apparently.

I put some black cardboard inside the engine to make it look better, for both the big air intake and the small air intake at the front.

I added a custom clearpart to each side of the wing, a fun and simple fix. 🙂 I had a lot of fun building this (other Revell boxing) kit, nothing too complicated.

I thought the tailhook parts on the Revell kit were weird, iirc.

I wonder if there is any wiring for the Hawkeye plane, it might look even nicer if adding that detail, I don't remember it if has any.

Btw, I think I am reading now that the prototype first flew on 21. October 1960.
