Nach meiner Kenntnis, Frank, kommen in die Flaschen Knicklichter hinein. Den genauen Grund hierfür kenne ich allerdings nicht ... Diese Flaschen stammen aus dem BUFFALO-Bausatz von Bronco.
Accurate Armour hat ebenfalls Flaschen im Programm
To my knowledge, Frank, in the bottles break lights were put inside. But the reason I don't know ... These bottles are from the Buffalo kit from Bronco.

Es gibt immer, je nach Zugehörigkeit, eine verschiedene Anzahl von Flaschen an den Antennen. In diese Flaschen kommen IR Knicklichter. So kann man bei Nacht das Gefecht besser führen. Is also auch eine Art "IFF" Kennung!

Hallo Roland und Holger, danke für die Erklärung. Zuerst dachte ich, dass die Besatzung Ihre Getränke durch den fahrtwind kühlt wie wir es früher mit den Cola-Dosen in den Nebelwurfbechern unseres Leos versucht hatten. Hat auch prima funktioniert - im Winter eiskalt und im Sommer brühwarm... 😄
Hi Roland and Holger, thanks for the explanation. First I thought it is for the crew to cool their water by the wind when driving, as we did it with Coke cans in the smoke grenade launchers of our Leos. It worked well - ice-cold in Winter and piping-hot in summer... 😄

Cool. Einen noch kleinen "aha" effekt hättest du noch machen können. Vom Deckel der Flasche aus eine schräge Bohrung IN die Flasche und die dann mit einer dem Knicklicht entsprechenden Farbe ausmalen/Auffüllen. Die Bohrung im Deckel fällt kaum auf.😉

@Roland: Knicklichter rein und im Dunkeln photographieren. Keine Knicklichter = Tageslicht... 😄😉 , aber die Idee von Thorsten ist trotzdem gut... !👍

Klar ist die Idee von Thorsten gut - die hat was! Aber andererseits schauen die Wenigsten so genau hin ... und runterrupfen tu ich die Pullen jetzt nicht mehr, da ich sie auf Anhieb so gut hinbekommen habe.
Außerdem ist auf meiner Base eh grad 12 Uhr Mittag 😄

I`m truly jealous about the lil water bottles! I`ve tried to replicate one of them for my Fennek, but sadly it didn`t works with success! :/
In 72 it was too small!
The desert scheme is a great theme, I like it much!
As You described your built as finished, it would be cool anyway if you would display this fine model on a base! 🙂

Hello, Philip ... the use of AK Products is limited to my three or four things that I have. I own a lot of Mig Productions, which I use as well. In both cases (by the same developer😉 ) I can't report any negative things.
I'm very satisfied with these tools, which spared the mix one yourself 🙂 - but I also use oil paints with dilution - whichever color best match what I imagine. With me will be "the full program" used 😄
