Construction
![Album image #1 Album image #1](/albums/img/4/7/6/115476-11813-89-720.jpg)
Basically, one afternoon of work.
![Album image #2 Album image #2](/albums/img/4/7/7/115477-11813-89-720.jpg)
Some rear details. It's nice that the exhaust was molded.
![Album image #3 Album image #3](/albums/img/4/7/8/115478-11813-97-720.jpg)
Breaking it down into modules. Storage boxes + crewman + drive wheels.
![Album image #4 Album image #4](/albums/img/4/7/9/115479-11813-45-720.jpg)
Hull. As usual a lot more work to do here.
![Album image #5 Album image #5](/albums/img/4/8/0/115480-11813-31-720.jpg)
Front plate.
![Album image #6 Album image #6](/albums/img/4/8/1/115481-11813-93-720.jpg)
Lower hull. I like the smart construction of this part.
![Album image #7 Album image #7](/albums/img/4/8/2/115482-11813-18-720.jpg)
Bottom. Nobody will ever see those details anyway.
![Album image #8 Album image #8](/albums/img/4/8/3/115483-11813-26-720.jpg)
The turret fits without a single use of putty. And looks good indeed!
![Album image #9 Album image #9](/albums/img/4/8/4/115484-11813-80-720.jpg)
Back of the turret.
![Album image #10 Album image #10](/albums/img/4/8/5/115485-11813-45-720.jpg)
Bare bottom. Crew seats are doubling as a stands for figures.
![Album image #11 Album image #11](/albums/img/5/0/4/117504-11813-68-720.jpg)
Side grills in position. Though they will be mostly covered, the look would be better.
![Album image #12 Album image #12](/albums/img/5/0/5/117505-11813-80-720.jpg)
Yes... mostly covered 🙂
![Album image #13 Album image #13](/albums/img/5/0/6/117506-11813-40-720.jpg)
BESA barrells added and also antenna fittings changed to brass ones.
![Album image #14 Album image #14](/albums/img/5/0/7/117507-11813-58-720.jpg)
And here's a side view.
![Album image #15 Album image #15](/albums/img/5/0/8/117508-11813-32-720.jpg)
Front plate mostly done.
![Album image #16 Album image #16](/albums/img/5/0/9/117509-11813-75-720.jpg)
Rear grill. Way better than the mesh provided in set.
![Album image #17 Album image #17](/albums/img/5/1/0/117510-11813-43-720.jpg)
Close up on replaced BESA barrell.
![Album image #18 Album image #18](/albums/img/5/1/1/117511-11813-49-720.jpg)
I think that decision of replacing the original barrel is obvious.
![Album image #19 Album image #19](/albums/img/5/1/2/117512-11813-22-720.jpg)
That's the included peashooter...
![Album image #20 Album image #20](/albums/img/5/1/3/117513-11813-64-720.jpg)
And this looks more menacing 😉
![Album image #21 Album image #21](/albums/img/5/1/4/117514-11813-68-720.jpg)
Side view.
![Album image #22 Album image #22](/albums/img/5/1/5/117515-11813-92-720.jpg)
Front BESA gun. It's only a shame that only the front would be visible.
![Album image #23 Album image #23](/albums/img/5/1/6/117516-11813-51-720.jpg)
Comparison of smoke dischargers.
![Album image #24 Album image #24](/albums/img/5/1/7/117517-11813-86-720.jpg)
Side view.
![Album image #25 Album image #25](/albums/img/5/1/8/117518-11813-33-720.jpg)
And now for the merry men. Tank commander + MIniArt tank riders.
![Album image #26 Album image #26](/albums/img/5/1/9/117519-11813-49-720.jpg)
That's the idea of placing the figures at this point. It might be changed though...
![Album image #27 Album image #27](/albums/img/5/2/0/117520-11813-10-720.jpg)
And the other angle.

looking good so far 👍
a pretty nice kit, with some aftermarket this can only be a burner, I especially like the subtile texture Tamiya did on the main amrour...

Oh yes, that's absolutely great! As this one is a comission I really think to buy one for myself... 😄

Album info
I'd say that it's basically OOB, but as the work progresses and I'm seeing more and more places that needs improvement, this might be an understatement.
So it will be a "minor detailing".
