Like this one!

Album image #2
Got this one for the 6 cyl motor & wheels......

Album image #3
....and the 53 taillights for this one. It says 53 but shows a 54 grill. It also says "Panel". NO, it's a Sedan Delivery!!!

Album image #4
Black-Revell, Red-Monogram...

Album image #5
...longer AND wider. The red 53 hood should also have a crease up the middle!

Album image #6
The 3 side by side

Album image #7
The windshield was molded with the wings. It didn't fit very good so I cut off the wings. Now the glass just slips through so I had to trim it out a bit

Album image #8
I like the seperate frame & floor pan, but the floor has no details at all

Album image #9
I'll just make it smooth, paint it flat black

Album image #10
Cut off the gas tank, easier to paint. I'll do the frame in gloss black

Album image #11
Just one of the ugly sink marks that has to go!

Album image #12
Anybody else remember these 2 piece tires? I remember them back in the day. Never could figure out how they expected us to glue them together, they didn't have Super Glue back in those days!

Album image #13
I want to use these wheels but the axles are different

Album image #14
so out with the old....

Album image #15
...in with the new! The tires are from the 53 "panel"

Album image #16
And I can't believe I'm even thinking about doing this, but the 6 banger won't fit the 54 tunnel, so here goes nothin!

Album image #17
Well such as it is. There's some ugly gaps to fill. Maybe I'll try some milliput on them.

Album image #18
The top part @ the firewall is way under the dash so it won't be seen. The red hump is a bit higher than the black, but it's under the seat so it won't show either. Just gotta fill the gaps & blend in the seams!

Album image #19
Patched the gaps w/glue melted sprue. Looks like it's going to take a few days to harden up completely

Album image #20
I'll use a bit of the Perfect Plastic Putty to blend the seams inside.

Album image #21
cut the engine mounts from the 53

Album image #22
should fit in there now!

Album image #23

Album image #24
lots of sctatches to fix

Album image #25

Album image #28

Album image #29

Album image #30
finished panels & seats..a bit dull, but the color is close

Album image #31
the dash & wheel BMF on the bars. it looks better close up. my camera doesn't doesnt do it justice.

Album image #32
the dash & front panels mount to the body...color is way off

Album image #33
....so it looks a bit funny

Album image #34
pearl white roof turned out ok! If my luck holds she'll look pretty good

Album image #35
the body is ready to go....the pictures really don't do it justice!

Album image #36

Album info

This is the first car I remember as a kid. I was probably 6 or 7 at the time. It was my stepdads. It was a green 4 door sedan. I remember it mostly because of the dash. It had about 30 vertical chrome bars across it, and you could see your reflection in every one. It was cool!
