I decided to paint it green and white because I do not want the mainstrem red and white.

Very nice work so far Christian! Green and white, I like that approach. Most do red/white, some the original concept blue/white... But green? Haven't seen it, looking forward to it!

I also know the blue/white scheme but it seems that the original design concept is different to the kit behind the cockpit and at the fins.

Yup the hardware is a bit different in the concept design. Thats what most people ignore when they do the blue scheme.

@ Rene:As written above, it will be crash landed and stayed in the dessert climate so paint is partly worn by the touch down and sand blast. This is the early beginning of wethering.

I am looking for a 1/72 scale or similiar scale figure of Rey. Does somebody have an idea were to get it?

Thank's mates. Last two days I assembled most components, started building the base and did dome washes. I will let ig dry until tomorrow afternoon. Then I will apply one clear coat more and do more washes and filters.

Some progress with weathering (five new pics added). Most parts assembled. Next step is to build the base and one figure.

For ~1/56 there is an unofficial Rey miniature from Hasslefree Miniatures (called "Kami Riko" ). But I assume it would be too big next to the model.

I'll quote Christian here, excellent! I like how you realized the torn off gun, with wires hanging out and all. Very cool 🙂 that along with the sandy dirt accumulated all over the place gives it a very desolate look and feel already.

Habe gerade auf einem Foto schon etwas entdeckt, daß ich korrigieren muß. Is halt so, wenn die Brille nicht mehr ausreicht
