I like the lemon yellow Tim, suits the car perfectly. What's the deal with the bodies? Is that a moulding fault?

The yellow Looks good! I don't know, how close it comes to the original Charger. I never saw this color in "nature"😉

Yes it's a molding fault, not terrible but annoying. Good thing I have to reshoot the paint, I forgot some detailing parts! Now I got to look at the GL and see what else I'm missing. LOL

I retract that last question! On the grounds I don't know what you're talking about! Am I too late not to incriminate myself? LOL

Duane, it was mostly the 69's, but used a 68 in one scene, the color is Citron yella, but some claim it's sublime green. imdb.com/title/tt007..ivia?ref_=tt_trv_trv Also we have a joke going, A ford guy (Bob) and a GM guy ( me) and a Mopar guy ( Monky) walk into a bar. Hey Bob where did you go? You're not in the picture!

Can't wait to see the DMCL car done, Tim...one of my all time favorite movies. Can't tell ya how many times I've watched it.
And jumping in on this "age" conversation, when I took my autobody course, we learned how to use lead. My instructor also told us that his dad, who was also a body man, had to learn carpentry because of the wood that was used in early cars!

What was the American car movie from the 70's that had a young blonde bloke paired with a girl? Can't remember much about it. Think he'd just got out of prison????

O.K I might have to do a different dio than what I thought. I was going to do one with the car approaching the tracks, but forgot that the car was already damaged on the left front side from hitting a pick up truck earlier in the film. So now I'll have to watch the movie again. Any suggestions are welcome. Tks

Wow, so after watching the movie I can see a lot of times the color of the car does look Sublime green! But everyone in the movie calls it yellow. which would go with the Citron yella color. In some of the still movie pics I have it sometimes doesn't look like either! Then in some it looks like one or the other color. So now, I either smash up the front end for a dio, or just have the car displayed by the crossing unscathed.

well, that's one for the dio. Chris, the dio would be the car approaching the tracks with damage from the hit with the pick up truck. Couldn't afford a 3 ft train!

Sorry James but I've been busy with finishing up the 55 Nomad and the Starsky and hutch car. I'm getting close to finishing the black 70 F&F charger and I'm hoping to complete that in 2-3 weeks. Thank you sir for asking.

Chargers update: O.k, waiting on rims for the 70 F&F charger so I can chrome the bumper & rims at the same time, and a few little things to glue and a little final painting and it'll be done. Found someone who makes the DMCL decals, which came in Thursday. Started working on exhaust today, again just a few things to glue on and then have to decide weather to do the pretrain damage version or just leave stock. The red R/T that's been hiding in the back ground just needs me to give it the time. The 73 is waiting as well. I've opened my 1 new kit this year and won't see another until I get some of these others that got put to the side done! Way too many started, and so many so close to finishing!

Good way to chill out but I can't! It melted! Not very much snow this year, and only 2 sub zero days, a mild winter so far.

Bozzer if he needs anything I'd be glad to help. I've got the nice looking grill parts ect. Front A arms can be a bite, watch out. As far as that video goes, it would've been more impressive if the guy was still rolling or about to take off.
