Tail on, cockpit dry brushed, cockpit tub painted, clear tips installed on the wings and decaled.
Trying for the first time my hand at an oil wash.
That went well...
Cockpit section now installed
These 2 should be sisters.
Almost at the priming stage.
I decided to drill out the holes on the airbrake.
Built and dry fitted onto the fuselage.
Why would Airfix illustrate this triangle section and not actually produce it in plastic?
Build process now finished just waiting for the canopy.
Fuselage and Airbrake primed
And all other bits primed
Fuselage Airbrushed Vallejo Model Air Medium Gunship Grey
Speed brake ready for decals.
Brown areas, WE177 Bomb bay dispensers and bombs painted and Landing gear built
Wings, 1000lb bombs and Pylons, Speedbrake, Canopy and Slipper Tanks all now have decals and are ready for final assembly.
Stencils are on, I consider this a slight warm up for the Phantom...
The first of the markings are now on aswell as the refueling probe.
Nearly there.
The last of the decals are now submerged in Klear.
Both the antenna and clear parts are now on, now drying and waiting the grand finale!
So in these Interesting times I decided to.use an unused piece from the Bucc as a tribute to the men and women of the NHS!
Please excuse the quality but this is my tribute to my friends(I am an ex NHS worker) and their colleagues who are fighting this battle!
And shes finished!
I left the canopy parts loose and I'm going to give it a few weeks then I will give her a second full gloss coating.
She has been made to represent the Royal Navy Bucc that is currently at Bruntingthorpe, I'm really digging the folded up look, some how the Buccaneer makes this look best!
