Haaa easier to do/show then to explain 😄 On Brown base color I started to add texture of lighter brown using stiff hair brush. Next step was adding very light wood color to mark spots. Next was drybryshing with light color to softer texture. After that Citadel washes comes to play. Seraphim Sepia if I good remember- first around edges of panels and then on whole fuselage. I have finished it with gloss varnish. If time will be on my side I will make video about it soon 🙂

Thank You 🙂 Building it was a challenge but I just love line of those planes 🙂 And this wooden fuselage standout on shelf 🙂 I encourage everyone to make at least one "wooden plane" for their model shelf 🙂

I have a Sopworth Camel and Fokker D.II in my stash. Not sure i'll build them though as they are not my area of interest

Wow! This is beautiful! I love the engine detail and the pic of the airframe. Stunning. 1/72? This must be tiny.

Great work in that small scale! To handle a Parts set in that scale is a task of itself 👍 Congrats!

It is hard to believe, that this kit is in 1/72! Love the wood grain on the fuselage!

Just looking at the PE fret from Part makes you shiver. Appying it is masocism. But a very fine result you achieved with it.
