Step 0 - mask glass areas
Step 1 - white primer
Step 2 - white base entire body
Step 3 - apply narrow masking tape at exact positions and width of green stripe

Step 4 - mask white area right up against stripe tape
Step 5 - paint unmasked areas gold
Step 6 - place a mask tape right up against the stripe mask on the gold side
Step 7 - remove the stripe mask
Step 8 - brush green into the gap left by removing the stripe mask

Step 9 - remove masks (except glass)

Surely there's a better way to apply the green stripe! I didn't trust using a decal for the green stripes and besides I would have had to make my own. So I decided to paint it on. Considered painting a tape and applying it as a stripe - maybe I should have.
I skipped trying to get a white border under the green stripe. Running the stripe right up against the gold simplified things greatly.
