Album info
This is the true gem of this kit. An Allison V-1710 (28l) V-12 aircraft engine. These were widely available after WWII due to the rise of jet fighters. Cheap, over 1000hp stock but huge 🙂. Perfect toy for drag racers and tractor pulling guys.
I always start with the engine when building a car model. I soon realized that this V-12 would just look awesome. The fit and the detail quality made me believe it was made by a different company than the rest of the kit. I decided to give it a solo display. Build a simple stand and was very happy with it. It is something really different.
