On the actual orbiters, you can see a pinkish pattern on some of the wing surfaces. I tried to replicate this with some thinned white paint with a single drop of red.

The model was coated with some Future to give the decals a glossy foundation. They laid down perfectly on the styrene and cardstock skin.

After a very, very long build time, I've started decals! The orbiter has a name, finally.
