First fitting test. Two more banshees will scort the plane. One under right wing and the other attached in the cloud.

Rewritten panel lines and hollowed out rivets. They were too soft. I need to rewrite them because I don't use airbrush and my paint layers are thicker. I added bullet holes in the fuselage and canopy.

Olive drab applied and propeller painted to use it as weathering test. A bit of color fading in leading edges and top fuselage with drybrush.

Upper side of banshee painted. i dont know if the use of miniature painting techniques will be adecuated or not. Usually fantasy miniature painting techniques are somewhat theatrical. Maybe i must paint the banshees like if they were covered with physical rags not "ectoplasmic" material.

Great concept. Is it an original idea or from a story/ comic/myth? Very interesting. Sort of thing @strobez would be into 👍

It's an original idea, Gary, almost (everybody knows references like the Ghost Rider, haunted houses, the Wild Hunt, etc). I had in the stash that p-40 and the Myrmourn Banshees (before starting scale modeling i was a Warhammer and other wargame miniatures painter) and it seemed to me very appropiated to combine the plane with the banshees minis. Something like the actual banshees pleased with mere mortals using its name to frighten their enemies, take control of a downed airplane and use it as phisical vehicle to harass humans in the sky. Sorry for my English 🙂

Historically accurate within the parallel universe of your choosing - go for it !

Finished!. Not totally happy with the result but enough. First time i attempt sun fading in leading edges and upper fuselage with dry brush. The cloud is more "stoneish" than "cloudish". Next time i will try with Fimo translucent. Thank you all for your likes, comments and following.
