Not very much of this will be seen under the winter camouflage, but I wanted to train in this technique.

Decals on.
I used some very old wing crosses and swastika's decals from a Matchbox kit, fuselage crosses and codes plus some stencils from the original HB sheet.

The fuselage codes are absolutely hypothetical or, better, fictional; the only letters you can "guess" from the picture are GC but they look like they are covered in spray paint, maybe 02?

Waiting for the clear coat to completely dry.

Calling this one finished!
I really liked this project, did some practice with oils and without caring too much about accuracy.

I was hoping to see the "Uniposca technique" in action!
Thank you Andrea, an excellent work so far!

What a weird camo, but a great idea to represent it! I would never have the guts to even try.

Thanks everybody for your kind appreciation! I wanted to try this since I bought the Hobby 2000 boxing, but later on I discovered that this particular a/c was a G-1 and no other info was available, I decided then to use the Hobby Boss kit I had in my stash with the minimal modification required to calm my modeling consciousness...
I used a UNI-POSCA pen, is water based paint available from stationery and hardware stores in Italy. This is what is wrote on it that it may be useful for a search

Brilliant work Andrea. I bought a paint pen like this months ago thinking it would be ideal for Lutfwaffe squiggles. I haven't yet got round to using it, but your example shows it works brilliantly. That and your talent of course!

Great job!
But why was the Hobby Boss kit chosen?
Immediately we see a very thin fuselage.

Thanks a lot David and Denis!
To be honest, I didn't notice the thin fuselage but accuracy wasn't my goal with this build , with hypothetical code markings.
Good to know anyway, thanks for pointing it out!
