Album info
Douglas C-133 is completed. I was attracted to Roden's very attractive package illustrations and bought it inadvertently. It has a shape similar to the C-130, but it is very large and can carry IRBM etc.
This is my first time to use a RODEN kit, and it feels like an old ICM. The fit is not bad, the shape is passionate, and it expresses unique features well. The circular pattern on the nose is painted with masking tape. It was a little difficult to match with the engine mount, and I enjoyed it very much except that the decals shattered immediately.
It's very sad, but Mr. Valley Grygorenko, who worked on the illustration, died in an attack by the Russian army. It was a rare existence that could depict attractive mechanics and the world in which they live with people. I mourn his obituary and wish this war an end.
