Main issues are that the cockpit openings must be moved forward and the fuselage must be deepened according to the windsock datafile,

Fuselage frame details added. The kit seats are surprisingly good, Floor strusture, control column, belts, instruments etc will be added later.

I found a resin clerget in the spares box, can 't remember where it came from. Not bad.
Added some detail on the cowl, and the landing gear

Eduard PE for the lacing and aluminum foil to represent the fwd fuselage side panels

Mr surfacer 500 sprayed for a smooth surface

Rigging about 50% completed.

Painted on roundels. Mr color mix C5 +C72 for blue, C316 for white.
Alclad dull aluminum for the fabric, Mr color C92 semi gloss black for the metal parts.

Model kits sold in bags! That's something you don't come across with everyday. Great surgery and mod skills. I like how you rig, drilling through the whole wing. Sanding the rigged wing in the end would put my nerves to test for sure... Congrats!

Album info

This is the old (1967) Airfix kit. I was 7 when it appeared and I remember it in the plastic bag hanging at my neighborhood's bookstore (yes, bookstores were selling plastic kits those years...)
Has some issues, but it is not bad for its age. Wish to see a new mold in 1/48 one day!
