The tank will have some Antitank Damage on the rear left road wheels. One round might also have penetrated, causing a small engine fire. During the repairs, a different enginge deck plate in a different shade was used.
The tarps did not fit together with the Rück- and Kolonnenfahrlicht, so I hat to relocate the whole bunch and added some more tarps made of Tamiya Basic Type Putty. The brackets for the jerry can rack were added as well.
Unfortunately, I encountered the worst issue of decal silvering ever, so I had to repaint the otherwise transparent spaces between the numbers. Hope this will get toned down by the following washes. I don't really know what happened, but I will scrap the Vallejo decal softener and buy Micro Set + Sol again. Never change a running system...
Some quick pics after the first pinwash and oil filters. I really like how panzer grey is reacting to earthy colors. The lower hull is following, along with the running gear and dust.
I'm really happy with the exhaust. This was done using a sponge to splatter old remnants of the paint, and some oil washes. The exhaust tip was blackened with pigment.
zakboom0815 Thank you very much for your kind words 🙂 Uploaded some minor progress today.

Started this project as a weekender. In fact, the kit went together so well, that I even forgot to take pictures prior to painting. D'Oh!
After the usual black primer, I sprayed Tamiya XF-63 German Grey straight from the bottle (diluted 1:1 with Mr. Levelling thinner) in a mottled pattern. This works so well, I never had any troubles with paint peeling or other defects. But a proper filtering mask is a must!
After that, the first highlights were done with XF-55 Deck Tan for a slight warmish hue, and the second layer was done with XF-2 Flat White.
