Mercedes CLK-GTR

I bought this kit at a hobby expo, the kit was stored in a damp area, the decals that came with the kit were cracked and frayed to an extent. I scanned them, and bought some water decal paper, I've used it before but in a smaller scale, I've never used it on big decals, and I learned my lesson the hard way, I needed to cut every single decal independently for them to function. You can see the cracks on the ink on the big D2's on the side because the sheet just wrinkled all the way when I put them in water.

Also consider the decal backing will legit print out that green hue, I had to adjust the contrast and edit it a bit to get the right black and red and clear color. I think I did ok, all things considered, All the decals on this kit were re printed from stock Hobby Lobby water decal paper.

Other than that I just used Revell Chrom Spray on the lights and grill, used carbon fiber decal through the car, heat shield decal around the engine, also used fake cloth on the seat and wheel.

I'm a bit impressed but finding a spare decal online is almost hard, I had no choice!
