Giant OV-10A
Foam RC model with printed additions

This is the FlightLine OV-10 Bronco 1400mm foam flying model. I've repainted it, removed the control horns, and added 3D printed parts (both FDM and resin). Cockpit is untouched yet as this requires major surgery. The original retractable landing gear is still installed but retracted. The FDM printed gear/doors are single units that fit into the original wells.

The landing gear is FDM printed with PLA, and it does not hold up over time. My last test parts lasted a year, then collapsed. The PLA weakens over time and will eventually fail. So now I'm stuck while trying to figure out the new plan. Maybe printing with PETG will help?
