Can't you strip the sprues as a whole of the paint? Dip them in a bath of paint stripper? Might be a whole lot easier than sanding each piece

Most of the pieces are under carriage, so they're not that visible......but I stay awake at night knowing there are seams and that they must be eliminated! I think I botched the body paint job and I hadn't noticed on its original project. I just went over the lint - think HAIR - with 600 to 2000 and that took care of it. Mostly, I just thought it was funny that whomever I bought this kit from had gone to that much trouble to paint pieces ON the sprues with a brush, only to be done over with a rattlecan OFF the sprues.

I feel your pain. I'm currently sanding tanks on a truck. Tanks that will never be seen, yet I've spent a few hours already on them.

SCM Topic: L&YR Class 21 0-4-0ST
Topic for this series of kits is incorrect; should be 'L&YR Class 21 0-4-0ST' not 'LMS Kitson 0-4-0ST'
The LMS Kitson is a completely different locomotive with a shorter tank and coal bunker in front of the cab (not features of the kits nor of the L&YR Class 21) plus many other less obvious differences. As far as I'm aware, there are no plastic model kits available for the Kitson, certainly none that are as well known as the Kitmaster/Airfix/Dapol Pug kit.
See the Wikipedia entry for this topic/subject for confirmation of the original kit being based on the L&YR Class 21 locomotive, first full paragraph under Models section:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/L%26YR_Class_21
I have corrected the erroneous information on the topic page, but I am unable to correct the topic title.

Also including a link to the Wikipedia entry for the LMS Kitson, which should illustrate the differences between the two locomotives sufficiently to show the the kit is not based on this locomotive.

That replacement blue door is such a perfect accent. The weathering is amazing throughout. Great work

Should SCM Brand: Hungarian Armour Decals and SCM Brand: No longer exists be merged? Just curious, I don't know the history of this brand.
