Mr DDo you mind if l ask what white paint you use??
I use Velejo for most my builds been good....but the white is poor in pigment!! I got recommend AK White.....and it is loads better but bit thick.

jan zumackGood question, i use Tamiya colors for the most projects. The White color ist named X2. I thinn it with Isopropanol.

Mr DYes, good help as l didn't know the Tamiya paint could be thinned with isopropanol. I have few pots that have thickened up bit to much.
So will get some in.

jan zumackYou could Not all colors thin with Isopropanol, but the most. All glittering colors have to dry more than 24hours and use some gloves. If you didnt do it, you got fingerprints on your kit. I learn that the hard way. 😅

Cdallas2Decided not to get too far before assembling and painting sections. Lots of parts look VERY similar so confusing myself could be an issue.

Mina RoI am afraid to see what this ones going to cost. The price of plastic kits these days i getting ridiculous for the average modeler on a budget.

Evan McCallumI don't think that Magic Factory is aiming to be a budget brand. More basic kits like those from Takom's Blitz line are still incredibly reasonably priced for example.

Matthias WeissI'll keep an eye on the Chinese market and let you guys know the local reference price as soon as it is available. Than you can think about if the importers and hobby stores in your countries are ripping you off or not. 😉

Mina RoYa its sad we have to buy elsewhere due to price but it is a choice I utilize to get a better price for sure. Just make sure its a seller in China who packs models correctly and ships promptly or your going to wait over a month and get a broken kit. Always check feedback first.

I'm looking to do the Zvezda Mi-8 1:72 in the winter as a Chernobyl disaster diorama, will be my first diorama, they do 3d printed damaged power stations now.
ICM do the figures, but scale will be wrong as the power station will be Birdseye view.
Top work... really like it.👌
