Stern von Afrika
I want to have a slight change in sand yellow for the probable field non standard overspray of this color. So I deliberately sprayed the lower fuselage side with less coverage.
.. less coverage of lower side fuselage; it is barely visible but I am happy
Tape removed
Some kind of idea.. but weathering is not nearly done.
Gloss lacquer and a Gunze lighter shade mix sprayed on randomly. Both for some depth on the upper color and the dust underneath.
More weathering to follow. But first decals and panellines.
And again, HGW (on blue backing paper) leads to disappointment. Yellow is way too light I don’t plan to buy HGW anymore if there is any color involved.
Yes, I knew they were lighter, but once on the model they appear even lighter than on the backing paper..

Very pale HGW JG27 emblem (on blue paper) . Unusable.
If there is any color on HGW wet transfers involved and if it also tears of after drying, like the Eismeer transfer, I believe it is a total waste of money.

Very pale JG27 emblem. Unusable. Even for a faded desert scheme.
These HGW crosses are now drying for 6-8 hours as per instruction.
Hopefully they won’t break up or tear off again like last time after following these instructions.
