Revell 64921 BAe Hawk T.1 Red Arrows

For such a recent kit there's a bit of flash and the moulding is a little crude. Responds well to cleaning though it seems. 

I knew the grey primer would be a problem to paint red over, so I used some matt red first, but I still don't think it worked out as well as I would have liked.  

The (nearly) finished article, just needs a bit of tidying and a coat of gloss. Overall, I am quite unhappy with this, I really wanted to do a better job. I just found the fit dodgy, the small parts very fiddly and I had a bit of a job with the paint. I think I did an OK job of the cockpit at least. Maybe I'll try another one in a year's time!
