Jagdpanzer 38(t) Late Production (Vespid, 1/72)
Started this kit on New Year´s Day and am about ready to paint after 2 long evenings of work... One could likely do faster, but whatever 🙂
PE and even a metal barrel were included. The barrel might be an initial release thing, but I am not sure
The wheels are detachable for ease of painting...
I "ragepainted" the camo by brush after I ran into issues with my masking fluid, but it came out appropriate. I then used the airbrush to put a bit of a highlight into the colours by mixing them with Dunkelgelb... Luckily, even acrylics are sprayable when using retarder and doing only highly diluted layers!
Some additional brushpainted highlights and details made the model ready for decals and a good varnish in preparation for later weathering.

Thanks guys! These new 1/72 kits really give some amount of detail that one wouldn´t have expected in this scale!

Thy for the positive response 👍 With good kits like this one I feel even more motivated going into the painting stage 🙂

I read a glowing review of this kit recently, you have done it justice. Great job 👍

I can't believe you can do camo on something that small, great job!

Building Vespid´s 1/72 Jagdpanzer 38(t) which I had bought for a groupbuild last year but was not quite fast enough to get to it in time... so it will be a nice little project to get the Modelling Year started. The kit requires some "fumbling" here and there but has really nice details!
