Well, everything fits nicely together. But, there are some rather HUGE pinmarks, most of which will be invisible but some really need filling. Also, there are steps in some of the straight edges, like on the bogie assembly. These need sanding and/or filling. The fit of the cab parts is VERY tight, and you may want to leave it separate for ease of painting. I have mine in multiple pieces still, and the roof is just pressed on in the pictures.
Like I said the fit is very good, some pieces don't need any glue to stay on, and the moulding is very good. The bars on top of the blade are a single piece, look absolutely stunning and fit perfectly with no glue.
The only problem i have is that one Sprue A is broken, and with it a part A19. Hopefully i can repair it?
Unfortunately, i will be leaving for France today for 2 weeks, so no progress during that time. But i will certainly be picking it up again afterwards. It is an absolutely brilliant kit, and I'm thinking of picking up a second one, to build in US Marine Corps colors 🙂

Well, i was following a build on armorama but i was a bit quicker. Or had more time probably :-0)
I also completed one of the tracks, and it's fully workable. Not to difficult once you get the hang of it. Assemble some chain, press on the plates et voila, a workable caterpillar track 🙂
I also have Meng's T-90, Merkava BAZ and on the way from HK is the Gaz Tiger. And once the wallet is recharged, i will get the Merkava Early as well i think. Or another D9. Maybe some AM will make a civilian conversion set? Than i could build a yellow version :-D

Well, i now have the Desert Eagle book on the D9's in IDF service, so hopefully I will be making some more progress and perhaps add some cab detail soon like wiring for the radio's and automatic fire suppression system? Meanwhile i started the Gaz Tiger from Meng, just for a change of subject. This means I will be dividing my attention between the two and progress will be a bit slower. Also have to start painting, so again slow. Sorry.

Well, interior has paint on it, i will post some pics later this weekend. Not much (or no) further construction done yet, but i hope to have some more updates next week. Thanks everyone for joining in. Great kit, great subject, so go out and get one yourself. You know you want it 😉

Some paint on the interior parts. Shot some more paint this evening, but no pictures. The Second seat has some yellow and kind of egg green on it now, following some pictures from the DEP book.

Well, it has been sitting on my bench looking rather lost for a month now. Really need to find the interest in it again. Got sidetracked a little, so many models and so little time. Will do something with it tomorrow, and i'll add some pictures of it's current state. So who knows, but i really need to finish it this year.

Well, it has taken some time, but it is back in the picture and on the bench. I retroactively applied some filler at various EPM's and seams. I also punched out some bolts and discs, in stead of using those on sprue A. It was easier than scraping these of for the hydraulic cylinders. Also replaced the bolts and washers on the wheelbogeys which were just flat and amorphic plastic slabs. I apologize for the quality if the pictures, i will bring up the DSLR, and take some better pictures for your enjoyment.
@Barry: it is certainly a monster. I wil put it next to a king tiger and T-64 for comparison. It really is quite huge.
