@Razz: The skirts are sheet metal and separate parts. They were included in the kit. Maybe you can have a look at one of the reviews of the kit. I also added some in progress pictures of the skirts at the end of the album.

Those are AK Dust Effects (Enamel) mixed with some plaster. Sprinkled on with old brush and airbrush. After a short drying period I softened the sprinkles with a flat brush moistened in odorless thinner. Application might be a bit heavy. Maybe it would have been better to have less sprinkles and then repeat the process with a slightly different tone to give more variation.

Very nice result. But I doubt that such a camouflage would have been very effective. In a forest in autumn may be... Not an easy science.

Pictures of my Sturmpanzer Brummbär. I started the build at the Scalemates Meeting on Wangerooge in 2014. Build and base coat have been finished in 2014. Then the model sat on the shelf for almost a year until I finally managed to finish it during the 2015 Scalemates Meeting.
