Thanks, guys, but I have been changing some of the colors. The greens were too different and especially the Gunze 309 dark green had to be more of a light olive. The solution was to reapply the black masking, but most of that had to be remodelled slightly as it doesn't fill the holes left by the other colors. Then I filtered with transparent green, so the light green is softened. For the dark green I only had an opaque filter, but it did the job quite well. If you check the tail image in the book, some of the spots switch color at the panellines and this would mean extra cutting work. I also added the CMK wheels but you should drill axle holes in the brake disks to be able to fix them. I made a dry-fit of the landing gear. The airbrake plates are a brown red composite and I painted the rest and the trust reverser gun metal.

Both medals have now arrived. These will be useful as nameplates on the base. One had the description "paquebot Strasbourg", translated as cargo ship, and would be cast in 1950. I started with sanding the hulls to remove the casting traces, these are apparently broken off the sprue leaving two scabs. I noticed one difference, Strasbourg got a degaussing cable. I removed one breakwater from the front deck, taking care not to remove the detail around it. The drilling locations are not very clear, indicator lines passing multiple holes. I started removing Dunkerques sloop rails as I noticed that in the Strasbourg Woodhunter deck there are some PE ones, but now I notice that Shipyard wasn't planning on replacing the plastic rails in their wooden deck. And these rails are lying on the wooden deck, so they're very thin. I'll have to compare very well.

Wow....what memories, I studied this vehicle to the point of exhaustion when I built mine.... I never managed to find out where the fuel filler neck was, it stuck in my heart....a very promising job....I really like what I see.

The truck cabin is now finished with the Eduard safety straps. While fixing the roof I noticed that a small strip should pass over the rear to make the internal frame fit to the rivets in the PE.

The hood is dry-fit on the frame and it seemed that one fender had to be rearranged. I prepared the PE for the rear view mirrors that are quite complicated. I also built the Gecko Models pallet truck as a dio element. It's a very fine kit, there is only one pallet contrary to the image with the 4 pallets on the truck.

Pictures today include the visiting club stands and the contest from the first rows at the entrance until the military vehicles. Figures and planes will come tomorrow.

The second part of my report is just posted, with more than 400 extra pictures. The Columbia won silver in masterclass and all returned home safely.

Thanks. The frame is now assembled after removing of sinkmarks on both beams. These were not present on the four wheel truck frame that is still included. The first set of three SKP lights is added to the rear.
